NROJB lost our long time banjo player Peter Kersten in Feb. '21. We're meeting in a park to talk with family and friends about his amazing legacy and maybe tell just a few more banjo jokes! He will be missed.

• This Midwest’s premier traditional jazz band from Kansas City has excited audiences since 1980, bringing the jazz "roots" to thousands. Specializing in Traditional Jazz, Dixieland, Ragtime, Blues, Stomps, etc., they recreate the amazing New Orleans jazz sound with great KC musicians.
• This concert is a special tribute to Bob Darch in celebration of the hundredth anniversary of his birth. He loved ragtime and Sedalia’s Scott Joplin festival so much that he chose Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia as his final resting place. Many members of the NROJB knew Bob well and are pleased to perform this concert in his memory.
